Maul Cachet

This hand-drawn and colored cachet was done by Herman Maul of Columbus, Ohio. Maul is a pretty good artist, even if he did draw Churchill's left eye somewhat lower than the right one. I don't know how many covers Maul made of each issue, but it must have been a very small number. It took me twenty years of Churchill cover collecting to find one, and when I did it cost me a small fortune.
