1966.  150th birth anniversary of the Danish educationist and scientist Christen Kold (1816 - 1870). He is described on Wikipedia, but in Danish only, so below is a short review, translated by the webmaster. The son of a Danish shoemaker, Mikkel Christensen Kold) Christen was a pioneer in the Danish school system. In 1831 he started teaching the children of the neighbouring farmers to read and write, and only later formalized his education. Kold's main idea, very advanced for its time, was full liberty between schooling and religious faith, which prevented him from obtaining a final professional job. He denied to teach the children to learn by heart, but encouraged instead the idea of learning by doing.

1967.  Wedding of Crown Princess Margrethe and Count Henri de Laborde de Monpezat (France).  A similar stamp of the same design and colour was issued by Greenland 1967.  This stamp is very well designed for the Royal Wedding, in red and white, which are the colours of the Danish national flag "Dannebrog".

1968.  Greenlandic Child Welfare.  Semi postal.  The stamp shows two Greenlandic children on the spiral stairway of the Round Tower in Copenhagen.  A similar stamp of the same design and colour was issued by Greenland 1967.
