Aristocrats Cachet
| This Aristocrats cachet was designed by Day Lowry. As did C. Stephen Anderson, Lowry quotes from President Johnson's tribute to Churchill. Lowry also includes this text: "In his forty years of public life, Churchill served six British monarchs and in an unprecedented action, was made an honorary American citizen on April 9, 1964." Unfortunately, that simple sentence contains two errors. Churchill's years of public life numbered more than 60, and his honorary American citizenship came in 1963, not 1964. |
