Boerger A.B.C. Cachet

Boerger A.B.C. cachets were produced by Al Boerger (the "A.B.C." stands for "Al Boerger Cachets"). Boerger employed Alton Weigel to design cachets for the A.B.C. line; Weigel also produced his own similarly-styled Artopages cachets. Boerger (1911-2001) is well known in philatelic circles for his work in identifying luminescent tagging varieties on U.S. stamps.
